Playgrounds of the Future

What would a playground look like if it were designed the way kids actually play?

I’m collecting a list of the coolest playgrounds in the world. Send me one if you see one!

Here’s a good one from the U.S.A.

You should check out some of the playgrounds in Vietnam - the focus on family time means that they’re designed for everyone to spend an extended period of time there, rather than having adults getting bored and dragging their kids away.

Alex, your blog is awesome! I learned so much. Now I want to go to Sweden…and to Somerford Grove Adventure Playground in London. That place looks epic.

And Liam, Vietnam’s idea of a playground makes so much sense. If I designed a playground for kids and parents, it would look very different. It would have shade, big-people swings and a hammock, for starters…

Thanks for the comments.
