I’m honored to hear that the Swiss Infantry School has made The Unthinkable mandatory reading for its staff. Very cool.

I too have found your book a great clarifier as to how we think ( or sometimes don’t think ) when faced with life or death situations. FYI the BBC have recently shown a programme ‘How to survive a disaster’ It’s watchable on their I-Player and here’s the link for anyone that’s interested - It’s from the UK (as I am) but inludes a fair few US situations.

The fact that pre-planning a ‘what if’ scenario appears to ‘prime’ our brains for future eventualities is worth remembering.
Thanks, for the book Amanda.

Well, you never know when they could have a nasty accident with one of those pocket knives, do you?
